Did you know that...

Did you know that chronic headaches can be caused by a malfunctioning masticatory apparatus? And did you know that a misalignment between the top and bottom arch of your mouth can result in facial pain (for instance in the eyebrows, cheekbones, and even in perfectly healthy teeth), pain in the ears (some times causing impaired hearing and/or tinnitus), neck, shoulders, arms (some times causing tingling in the arms) and back, and in some cases even in the legs?

And did you know that a wrong dental occlusion can cause difficulties swallowing or pronouncing words, and can even make it impossible to open your mouth wide and may result in neuro-vegetative complaints such as nausea and vertigo? Did you know that our teeth make complete contact more than 1,000 times in 24 hours – i.e. every time we swallow – activating a pathogenic mechanism more than 1,000 times a day? Did you know that perfectly healthy teeth are mistakenly devitalised and extracted because they are a source of referred pain, which in fact originates in and is triggered by a muscle?
